‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ Producer Michael Bay Shows Off Some Flashy New Vehicles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is heading into production with director David Green (Earth to Echo), with Michael Bay once again producing. The sequel is bringing along a few familiar faces, as well as new ones, like classic villains Bebop and Rocksteady, and while it will be some time before we get a peek at those guys, Bay has dropped the first photos from the set of the upcoming sequel, featuring some vibrant new vehicles.
Bay posted the photos over on his official site under the title “Just some stuff I found…” In the images above, we can see that the Turtles have a new garbage truck complete with classic sewer grate on the front. There’s also an image of a car that appears to be a Polaris Slingshot, though it’s unclear just which character would be driving that vehicle — maybe Stephen Amell’s Casey Jones?
In addition to the casting of Amell as the famous heroic hockey player, Tyler Perry (yes, that Tyler Perry) was recently added to the cast in the role of Baxter Stockman, the mad scientist responsible for creating the Mousers, machines Stockman uses to commit his crimes. In the cartoon series, Stockman is eventually transformed into a mutant fly.
Returning for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 are Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fernwick and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. The return of the Turtles themselves — Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher and Johnny Knoxville — has yet to be confirmed.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 arrives on June 3, 2016.
