As if Comic Con 2015’s Friday schedule in Hall H weren’t enough of a bloodbath between Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Walking Dead, in comes Game of Thrones for the (gratuitous and controversial) kill. HBO’s flagship drama will again ascend Comic-Con’s throne with a full panel, this time hosted by Seth Meyers.
Per the network’s official report, the panel will take place Friday, July 10 at 2:30 P.M. in Hall H, meaning you should have already lined up approximately twelve years ago. In addition to moderator Seth Meyers, the panel will consist of executive producer Carolyn Strauss, director David Nutter and stars Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, Natalie Dormer, Conleth Hill, Hannah Murray, Sophie Turner, Carice van Houten and Maisie Williams.
We wouldn’t be surprised of an unexpected guest or two, but then again, we know nothing.
Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 6, we know that casting has begun on a number of other new roles, several of which suggest we’ll follow Samwell Tarly on his departure from the Night’s Watch, while others seemingly confirm we’ll pick up with George R.R. Martin’s discarded Iron Islands subplots. Meanwhile, debate continually rages as to whether Kit Harington’s Jon Snow will participate in Season 6, as while cast and crew deny it, story logistics seemingly confirm scenes set at The Wall in Season 6.
Game of Thrones’ sixth year will presumably bring more official cast announcements at Comic-Con 2015, but what other surprises can we expect when Season 6 bows in 2016?
