Destiny's Child reunion: Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams perform together in Las Vegas

It’s the reunion we’ve all been waiting for…. well kind of.
Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams gave fans a rare treat in Las Vegas when they took to the stage at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards.
The singers opened the ceremony and performed Williams’ hit “Say Yes” and a cover of "Alpha & Omega". "Say Yes" is a revamped electronic version of the Nigerian Gospel song “When Jesus Says Yes”.
The threesome were not billed to perform at the event and the trio surprised the audience with their one-off appearance.

The group secretly recorded a studio version of “Say Yes” and a music video to go with the song last year after Beyonce and Kelly heard "When Jesus Says Yes" and wanted to record a version with a Destiny's Child mix.
Beyonce's father Matthew Knowles hinted in 2014 that the three stars could reunite for an album and tour.
“What folks don't know is that I am still the manager of Destiny's Child,” he told the Roula & Ryan show on Houston's KRBE .
“You see them doing songs together, now they've done two. There might be another Destiny's Child album coming,” he said.
He added, “There might be this tour that makes history with Destiny’s Child featuring Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle. Can you imagine what that would be like.”
Williams’ song was nominated in three categories at the awards, including Song of the Year, Urban Inspirational Single or Performance and Music Video of the Year. She also got a nod in the Female Vocalist of the Year category.
The 34-year-old gospel star walked away with Music Video of the Year for “Say Yes”.
It is the first reunion since the trio performed a set together during the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
