One Direction’s Furious With Zayn Malik Over First Interview — Why

Zayn Malik may feel as though a weight has been lifted off his shoulders now that he’s given his first interview since leaving One Direction, but  his former bandmates aren’t too happy with him because of it. Find out why!

It hasn’t even been a week since Zayn Malik, 22, quit One Direction, but he’s already creating bad blood between him and the band. Zayn’s recent interview — his first since leaving the group — has rubbed Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan the wrong way.

One Direction Reacts To Zayn Malik’s Interview — Why They’re Furious With Him

“Harry and the boys were somewhat heartbroken when Zayn left, but they knew he wasn’t well and were very supportive. But his recent interview left a bad taste in their mouths. He made it sound like being in One Direction and singing with them was a prison sentence. Also, he made it seem like he only did it for the fans — what about his bandmates? It sounded as if he had no loyalty to his mates. It’s not just about letting down the fans, what about letting down the guys who supported him during all his struggles?” a source tells.

Theboys are right — Zayn shouldn’t bite the hand that fed him, but we don’t think he was being malicious either. Zayn obviously felt unhappy as a member of One Direction and he needed to do what was best for him. We just hope his recent interview doesn’t ruin their relationships forever.

Zayn Malik’s Fans Angry Over Solo Music

Apparently, Harry and the boys aren’t the only ones upset with Zayn over his interview. After Zayn revealed that he’d be pursuing a solo career, fans became enraged. They’re upset with Zayn for reportedly confirming that he’s working on solo music just 48 hours after he told them he wanted to live a “private” life outside of the spotlight.
Obviously, there are a lot of mixed emotions going around. Maybe once the dust settles, everyone can accept things for what they are and just move forward. These guys have too much history to just throw it all away over an interview.
